Soccer, Football, or whatever you choose to call it, is just a game.  The FIFA World Cup is just an excuse to make a fool of yourself, watch tv, and support your country by looking absurd.  Do you know what happens to the winning country?  Not a thing.

Do you know what will happen once South Africa is done hosting the game?  They will probably be in a lot of trouble.  They displaced tens of thousands of people for construction, did not pay construction workers who had to resort to a strike, and did everything they could to make the country look nice while diverting money away from HIV treatment, poverty, and famine.  South Africa has one of the highest HIV rates in the world.  Billions of dollars were spend on the World Cup.  What if that was spent on people instead?  I'm guessing that the poverty rate isn't going to go down any....

Great job, guys.  It is good to see that you have priorities.
