This is a slightly premature bitter rant. Why do people always call it “The Fourth Of July?” The fourth of July is a DATE, what people are celebrating is an EVENT – the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress. For example, you don’t celebrate December 25th – you celebrate Christmas. Why is Independence Day any different? People, grow a brain and actually think about what you're saying. >:( |
